Henry Ford is Principal and Senior Advisor for LifeSteps Financial. Individuals and employers look for his advice and entrust the management and oversight of their wealth to him and the firm. From that view, he leads the firm in providing best-in-class service to clients and develops individual plans that fit specific objectives.
The LifeSteps Financial team was assembled to provide a client-centric approach and fastidious attention to detail. Prior to establishing the firm (originally founded as Foothill Financial Advisors) in 2010, Henry was a Regional Manager with TD Waterhouse, and subsequently with Citigroup Global Markets, where he led one of the highest performing teams in the nation. During his tenure with these large scale investment banking and institutional securities organizations, Henry saw how the impersonal side of financial planning can often overshadow personal goals and objectives. The element of individual client attention was missing due to the hard-charging focus on sales performance. Henry knew he could build a team with sound technical expertise and equally engaging interpersonal skills that would put client interests first.
With the experience of developing plans and identifying best-in-class financial options, Henry set high technical standards for himself and the firm at inception. This provided the foundation for the internal processes that blend client goals and objectives with lifestyles and legacy preferences while following internal technical and communication protocols. Known for working hard and playing hard, Henry has assembled a successful team that has become family – to each other and clients.
A Southern California native born in Whittier, Henry attended University of Southern California where he majored in Accounting and Finance. He also received a Financial Planning Certificate from the University of Riverside. Active in Claremont and the Inland Empire, Henry is a member of the Claremont and Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce and ProVisors, a community of trusted professional advisors.
