The year is almost finished and the last few months have been a crazy ride. The last few days have been no exception. As hard as it seems, we need to keep a perspective of the long-term. With the consternation in the government, the Fed, Brexit and speculation on profits, we certainly haven’t seen the end of volatility. The last few days of the year should be a little calmer due to the Holidays. What we are seeing is that people continue to be extraordinarily generous, grateful to be with family and friends during this season, and are taking the end of the year to refresh and recharge.
We thought it appropriate to, once again, talk about security. This time of year, with the marks of generosity and distraction, we tend to let our guard down. However, security both physically and digitally is paramount. We hope our article helps to give you ideas or take action, if you have not done so already.

Cybersecurity: What You Need to Know

Cybercrimes aren’t anything new, but cyber attackers have become sneakier and more aggressive. As a result, companies are becoming increasingly proactive about protecting their technological profiles, especially as some of the biggest data breaches in recent history happened to companies such as Yahoo, JP Morgan Chase, Target, Starwood Hotels, eBay and more.
The Yahoo data breach of 2013/14 affected 3 billion individuals. At the time, Yahoo had to renegotiate the cost of its sale to Verizon, reducing the cost by $350 million. That was obviously a huge hit to shareholders.

The Claremont Symphony Orchestra is an all-volunteer community orchestra based in Claremont, California. It is composed of approximately 100 talented musicians from numerous locations around Southern California, dedicating their time and talents to provide musically enriching, free concerts for Claremont, the Pomona Valley, the San Gabriel Valley, and the Inland Empire.
